How To Get Certified

So the certification process is easy. You take your ride, document your progress through photographic evidence, location shairing, or have your ride signed off on by any of our certified ride checkers throughout the nation. Pay $30, we review the documentation and contact you if additional information is needed. Each distance ride must be taken in a linear fashion, meaning you cannot take a 50 mile ride 10 times back to back in order to achieve your miles. A "loop or circular style" is acceptable, as is a "there and back" ride covering half the distance each direction. To get certified, provide us with your planned route, then take a picture of your bike and odometer before the trip, as well as something that verifies your starting location and time. Send us another photo of your odometer and ending location. You can even share your location with us for the ride if that is easier. The more photo's you share the easier it is for us to verify. Location sharing is the easiest way, but still requires odometer verification to ensure you were riding. Upon completion, you will receive your certificate and custom patch in the mail. Then you have joined our ranks as a true Long Haul Rider.

Rules & Conditions

All the rules that us bikers love to hate

1. Rides must be in a linear or circular route. No riding a short distance multiple times in order to reach mileage.

2. For rides with time constraints, photographic evidence or location sharing must be enabled to ensure the ride is completed on time.

3. Motorcycles must be ridden, no trailering of bikes. Mileage will be verified.

4. All bikers must ride their own motorcycle, no switching drivers during the trip.

5. Untimed rides must still be completed in a continuous trip and timely fashion. We will not certify someone who meets the distance requirements but takes years to do so.

6. Passengers and 2 up riders qualify for their own certification, after all you are in the saddle too.

7. Any mechanical failure or break down may be excluded and that time deducted if verified proof of repairs are received.

8. Time loss due to acts of nature will not be accepted, you start the ride, ride in the rain.

9. No certificate or patch will be mailed until all fees are paid in full. Each certification is $30.

10. Multiple certifications may be obtained on one trip, for riders attempting to obtain more than 3 in a single trip please contact us for discount pricing.

11. We are not responsible for accidents, we promote riding in a safe polite manner.

12. We make every attempt to ensure that riders meet their requirements, we will contact you and provide you an opportunity to fix it if something is wrong. Riders not meeting the requirements will be issued a refund minus processing fees.
